The three individually styled two-bedroom chalet-style lodges (Sophie, Maghnus and Geaspar) are well insulated and double-glazed throughout, with patio doors leading to a veranda with picnic table for outdoor entertainment.

In Sophie and Maghnus, there is a newly re-furbished, comfortable lounge downstairs with brand new (2010) open-plan kitchen area which is well equipped with ceramic cooker and oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, extractor hood etc. There is also a double bedroom and bathroom with full-sized bath and electric shower above. Upstairs there is a large bedroom that sleeps three comfortably (a recent addition to Sophie has been new beds and bedding). Sophie has new slate tiles in the living and bathroom areas and Maghnus lodge has laminate flooring in the kitchen/living area and the recently-refurbished bathroom.

Geaspar has been totally renovated and has been awarded 3* by VisitScotland, Scotland's Tourist Board. It has laminate flooring throughout with new kitchen area (with separate ceramic hob and oven, extractor hood and built-in microwave), new furniture in the lounge with coal-effect fire, flat-screen TV and DVD player and also new bathroom suite. The large bedroom upstairs has been completely redecorated with log-effect fire, two new single beds and a convenient daybed that can convert to either a single or double as required.

Heating is by convection radiators and all the lodges are suitable for year-round use (electricity is charged extra by meter reading at cost price at the end of your stay). A communal utility room for all the lodges is equipped with freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.

All beds will be made up for your arrival and ample towels (not beach) are provided without charge. Well-behaved dogs are welcome as long as they are kept under proper control and are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms.

All the lodges offer FREE Wi-Fi. 

The lodges are very suitable for those without a car as they are next to the award-winning hotel and restaurant and are only 400 metres from the ferry terminal which is very near the shop, surgery, village hall and ‘The Pantry’, which serves a wide variety of meals and snacks. If you need your luggage transported from the ferry, just let us know and we can arrange this for a small charge.

We are very flexible if you do not wish to stay for exactly seven nights. In the summer, bookings can be made on any Sunday, Wednesday or Friday with a minimum of two-night stay. In the winter, the same flexibility applies with the ferries arriving and departing on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
